HOW THIS WORKS

Managing
the archive

A quick guide to how cards, overrides, and accounts behave behind the scenes.

01

Overrides merge in, nothing is overwritten

Custom and overridden cards are stored separately from the built-in catalog files. Deleting an override brings back the original built-in card exactly as it was.

02

Wikipedia + Wikidata is a starting point

Fetch info pulls a name, summary, image, release year, and maker from Wikipedia and Wikidata. Every field stays editable, so incomplete or slightly wrong results can be corrected before saving.

03

All accounts are full admins

There is no public signup and no separate permission tiers — anyone created in the Users tab can add, override, and delete cards and other users.
